Software Engineer who can own end-to-end delivery of AI-native healthtech product features, designing core architecture for clinical workflows and scheduling logic, building real-time voice pipelines for AI-driven patient calls, and working across LLM systems, backend infrastructure, and product UI, while collaborating directly with enterprise healthcare customers and shipping into production systems, working fully in-office in New York City (West Village).
Responsibilities
- Design core system architecture and abstractions for clinical workflows and scheduling logic
- Build and optimize real-time voice pipelines for AI-driven patient calls including scheduling, triage, and confirmations
- Work across the full stack including LLM systems, backend infrastructure, and product UI
- Work directly with healthcare customers to model complex workflows and deploy into production enterprise systems
- Own features end-to-end from design to build to deployment to iteration
- Ship quickly in a high-urgency environment with minimal process and high autonomy
- Productionize solutions inside enterprise health systems and iterate based on real-world usage
Required Skills
- Full-stack or backend-heavy engineering experience
- Strong startup experience at high-hiring-bar companies
- Experience shipping production systems end-to-end
- Exposure to LLM systems strongly preferred including RAG, agents, and fine-tuning
- Ability to work across systems including frontend, backend, and infrastructure
- Strong CS fundamentals and fast learning ability
- High ownership mindset with comfort operating in ambiguity and rapid iteration
- Strong customer-facing collaboration skills to translate healthcare workflows into production systems
Preferred Skills
- Production-grade LLM system experience (RAG, agents, fine-tuning)
- Real-time or low-latency systems experience such as voice or streaming pipelines
- Experience building healthcare workflow or scheduling systems in production environments
